If you were at TEDxStellenbosch 2011, you would’ve heard all about Stan Engelbrecht and Nic Grobler’s Bicycle Portraits project. They have ridden their bicycles all over South Africa documenting other South Africans and their bikes. Their incredible portraits are now being published in three books. You can pre-order the books by backing their final Kickstarter round. If you’re not familiar with Kickstarter, it allows anyone to support a wide range of creative projects that they like. You make a contribution, and if the goal isn’t met by the deadline, your money remains in your pocket. Make space on your coffee table (or build a shrine), for these books are sure to be collectors items.
